Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of VulnerabilityTools.com ("the Service"). By using the scanner, you agree to them.
1. What the Service does
VulnerabilityTools is a free automated tool that checks a website for common security issues, malware reputation signals, and SEO and speed problems, and presents the results in a plain-language report. It is a diagnostic aid — not a professional security audit. Please read our Disclaimer alongside these terms.
2. Scan only what you're allowed to scan
You may only scan websites you own or have written permission to test. By submitting a URL and ticking the authorization checkbox, you confirm that you have that permission and accept responsibility for the scan. Scanning systems without authorization may be illegal in your jurisdiction — if in doubt, don't scan.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't abuse the Service: no attempts to overload it, evade rate limits, or interfere with other users.
- Don't use reports or scan results to attack, harm, or gain unauthorized access to any system.
- Don't misrepresent the Service or its reports as your own professional certification.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that scans will find every issue, that reports will be error-free, or that the Service will always be available. A good score is not a guarantee that a website is secure (see the Disclaimer).
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its reports — including, without limitation, security incidents on scanned websites, business losses, or decisions you make based on a report. If you need assurance about a critical system, hire a qualified security professional.
6. Reports and content
Finished scans get a shareable link. We may remove reports at our discretion (for example on request, for abuse, or for maintenance). Report content is generated automatically from scan results; you may share and quote your own reports freely with attribution.
7. Changes to the Service and these terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, and we may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
